Here's the Elvis bag, closed and open.
This was made from two 18" fabric squares, and measures 6" x 7" x 2".
How can YOU get an Elvis bag? Tell me what to put in it! This will be a gift for a retiring friend/coworker. She's a quilter, loves Elvis, loves travel, has biked the French Alps, and plans to have a second career as a preschool teacher. So what sort of goodies shall I tuck inside?
I have enough fabric to make a few more Elvis bags, so the BEST answer (or answers) will receive one. Prize bags will have the same Elvis fabric, but the contrast fabric may be slightly different. The contest will be judged by me (and perhaps some friends and family) and will be totally unscientific. Entries can be sweet, comical, zany - whatever you like!
RULES:
1. Suggested item must fit in the bag.
2. Suggested item cannot be a gift card.
2. Contest deadline is 5:00 PM (Eastern Time) June 21.
So hurry, hurry, hurry and send me your suggestions! :)

I think it would be cute if you could find little blue shoes, such as on a key chain, to put in the bag. Blue suede would be nice but any small blue shoe will convey the idea. :-)
Mini blue suede shoes. I've seen a little key chain with a mini shoe. The tiny shoe wouldn't have to be suede--as long as it's blue your friend will get the idea.
Has to have a comb along with the shoe keyring or charm. Maybe a peanut butter and banana sandwich.

Pretty Cute!
Oh gosh, A teacher mug, chocolate(for those stressful teacher days!), Quilting with kids book or school theme fabric, a whistle(for the alps and noisy children, a CD of relaxation music, Elvis socks and just for fun, rocks from your favorite bike/hike path!
Love the bag Chris! As what to put in it....hmmmmm......a quilted postcard w/a set of blue suede shoes to wish her luck in her next career, a FQ pack of school related fabrics, chocolate, and quitled lanyard to hold her new teacher id. =)
A Butterfinger for Elvis. An "I Heart Alps Trek water bottle" in case she wants to take a second tour. And for the soon to be preschool teacher, Kleenex tissues, she and the kids will go through them like water.
You're a good friend.
