This and That

Since I was unable to get the blue dress hemmed last weekend, I contented myself by making this drawstring bag.  I used Simplicity 8393 - but this bag is a hybrid of two different views.  Tomorrow we head to Platteville to pin the hem and decide on any embellishments.  I'm thinking in terms of flowers or pearls - something classy.  However, I think Miss Kami is thinking of sequins. (Dear Lord, please don't let it be so!)

Funny how we each have our own mental vision of what a dress, quilt or other project will look like in the end.  I'm hoping our collaboration will result in something even better than either envisioned independently.  :)
