My sister Adriana made a quilt using actual photos printed on cloth in addition to various colors and patterns of cloth. She took photos of kids from school and made the quilt for a teacher's retirement party. The end result was beautiful and memorable. The teacher loved the gift. I can put you in contact with my sister if the idea of using actual photos on cloth appeals to you. Christine
