I'm a representative of DuPont though, and hope you'll let me share some information with you and your readers so that everyone can make truly informed decisions.

Regulatory agencies, consumer groups and health associations all have taken a close look at the Teflon® brand. This article highlights what they found -- the bottom line is that you can use Teflon® non-stick without worry.

http://www.fluoropolymer-facts.com/PFOA/content.cfm?ItemNumber=4137&navItemNumber=4040xxx

I'd truly be glad to share additional information about it if you are interested, and appreciate your consideration of this comment. I use masking tape along the front edge to keep it from sliding on the bed.Pathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04318579259533634608noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4982092038746158734.post-50415322038777740152012-02-18T20:01:30.258-06:002012-02-18T20:01:30.258-06:00Have to add this. I definitely notice when I have forgotten to put it in place. It adheres to the machine surface very well (amazing!) and I haven't had any problems with an edge or corner lifting. When lint starts to accumulate on the wrong side just hold it under warm running water and dry and it's as good as new. I use it for all my FMQ projects and highly recommend it!!!
